Hey and welcome!
I'm a writer, director, and editor working out of Los Angeles.
I came up out of the DSLR revolution; bought a Canon 60d back in college and started writing/shooting/editing as much as I could. I've screened a few short films at Oscar-qualifying film festivals such as the Chicago International Film Festival, Hollyshorts, DC Shorts, and deadCenter.
I recently premiered my feature film "Don't Kill My Vibe" at NewFilmmakers LA, which I co-wrote, directed, and edited during the pandemic.
I'm also a working editor and love to collaborate with others to help bring their vision to life; I've cut about a dozen or so short films and two features. Most recently, I was selected as the 2026 Eric Zumbrunnen editing fellow, (which you can read about here).
Outside of film, I also practice and teach Brazilian Jiu Jitsu at Modern Martial Arts in Pasadena. Yes, if you ask me about it I will probably talk too much.
Here are some quotes I that I think about often:
"The role of the artist is to not look away"
(Akira Kurosawa, translated)

"Slow is smooth, smooth is fast."

"We don't rise to the level of our expectations, we fall to the level of our training" (maybe Archilochus)
